The 21st Kids’ Night on Broadway will take place in NYC on February 28, 2017 and tickets go on sale December 6 at 10:30 am!

The annual event offers kids (under 18) a FREE ticket with every adult ticket purchased. Plus, to celebrate the event, many participating restaurants offer free kids meals when you purchase an adult meal and participating parking garages offer discounted parking during this special event.

Kids’ Night on Broadway Tickets Go On Sale Tomorrow!

We told you the Kids’ Night on Broadway program would be coming soon when we reviewed Matilda the Musical. Well tomorrow is the day!  Tickets go on sale on November 3 at 10:30 am.

The annual event offers children ages 6 to 18 a FREE ticket with every adult ticket purchased. In addition, many participating restaurants offer free kids meals when you purchase an adult meal and participating parking garages offer discounted parking during this special event.

Kid-Friendly Broadway: Matilda the Musical

Matilda the Musical

Some of my fondest childhood memories were made on Broadway in NYC. I was obsessed with musicals as a child and dreamed of seeing my name in lights on the Great White Way. I even loved that old Milford Plaza commercial with the hotel staff singing The Lullaby of Broadway–remember that?

I never made it to the Broadway stage, but my dad, who didn’t have much money, saved to take me to a few shows and it meant the world to me. Now I’m able to share the Broadway experience with my girls. Taking the kids to Broadway is a wonderful way to get some family culture in and enjoy the best of NYC. And there are some fabulous kid-friendly shows to see.

After scoring 2-for-1 tickets for Broadway Week, we saw Matilda the Musical at Shubert Theater and I’m still singing the show tunes in the shower.
