#TravelTuesday Q&A: How Many Islands To Visit on a Hawaii Vacation

Hawaii Vacation | Kauai, Hawaii

Q: Hi Playground, I’m planning a vacation to Hawaii for my family of four (husband and I and my two surfing teens, ages 15 and 19). We’ve got 10 days total, including travel time from New Jersey. It’s our first times visiting and I want to visit three islands, but I heard that might be too many? I’d love to see the volcanoes and maybe Pearl Harbor and get out and explore. What do you think? ~ Thanks! MR

#TravelTuesday Q&A: Spring Break in Kauai, Hawaii

Kauai, Hawaii

Q: Hi Playground, Spring break is coming up and I just found a super bargain deal for my family to go to Kauai at Costco of all places! Now that we’re all booked, I’m wondering what kind of activities will be available for us (my husband, 14-year-old daughter, and I) when we get there. Thanks! — Jen

A: Hi FM, Hawaii is beach paradise, and Waikiki is among the best known, and most beautiful sandy spots on Oahu. But not all hotels are directly on the beach.

#TravelTuesday Q&A: Spring Break in Maui

Maui

Q: Spring break is coming up and I’m dying for a fun getaway for my 12-year-old son and I.  We could use 3 or 4 nights in the sun. Is there any place kind of all-inclusive where we can lie by a pool and drink frozen drinks but is not tacky and won’t be overrun with spring breakers? Too much to ask? We will be coming from the west coast. Thanks! — Dawn P.
