#TravelTuesday Q&A: How Many Islands To Visit on a Hawaii Vacation

Hawaii Vacation | Kauai, Hawaii

Q: Hi Playground, I’m planning a vacation to Hawaii for my family of four (husband and I and my two surfing teens, ages 15 and 19). We’ve got 10 days total, including travel time from New Jersey. It’s our first times visiting and I want to visit three islands, but I heard that might be too many? I’d love to see the volcanoes and maybe Pearl Harbor and get out and explore. What do you think? ~ Thanks! MR

#TravelTuesday Q&A: Spring Break in Kauai, Hawaii

Kauai, Hawaii

Q: Hi Playground, Spring break is coming up and I just found a super bargain deal for my family to go to Kauai at Costco of all places! Now that we’re all booked, I’m wondering what kind of activities will be available for us (my husband, 14-year-old daughter, and I) when we get there. Thanks! — Jen

#TravelTuesday Q&A: An Affordable, All-Inclusive Family Summer Getaway

Punta Cana Dominican Republic family travelQ: Hi Playground! I want to take my family of five — my husband and I and our three teens, ages 13, 17, and 19 — to an all-inclusive resort for a summer beach vacation. I don’t want to break the bank, but would love to be able to fly somewhere (we live in Maryland between Baltimore and DC) for a real vacation feel. What would you suggest?  ~ NGC

Puerto Rico Wants You To Visit

Puerto Rico travel

An amazing thing happened at a recent meeting I had with tourism officials from Puerto Rico. Instead of discussing the long term negative effects on tourism from the recent destructive hurricane, they started talking about Spring Break. Puerto Rico’s message to the world is: Please come visit and be part of their comeback!

I was as surprised as you probably are. Continue reading “Puerto Rico Wants You To Visit”
