Mark you calendars! For the second year in a row, hundreds of families will celebrate Sunday Funday with the Children’s Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) on January 31, 2016, at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers, NYC.
CMOM will bring together the best in family entertainment, indoor sports and games, creative workshops, and fabulous food for the whole family. Children 0 to 12 will enjoy age-appropriate activities ranging from live performances (Laurie Berkner) to obstacle courses, and from celebrity athlete appearances (former New York Knicks) to bouncy castles. Babies and toddlers will enjoy soft play areas, sing-alongs, and a ride on a choo-choo train. Themed workshops will be run for all ages by museum educators. And your favorite costumed characters, magicians, and face painters add to the family fun.
The Children’s Museum of Manhattan was founded by families and individuals to create a place of joy and learning for all children. It’s a top notch children’s museum, and was a family favorite when both the Gilmore Girls and Melissa’s son were younger (Melissa’s 2-year-old niece and nephew now visit often with their parents).
All funds raised at Sunday Funday support the top-notch cultural programming at CMOM, provide free access to CMOM for more than 50,000 low-income individuals a year, and help fund outreach programs in over 50 sites in high-need neighborhoods across New York City.
